Mercedes SL Rear Wheelarches


This is one of the more common metal work repairs to go through the workshop

Rust on the rear arches

That the inner arches are gone too

The only cure is to cut it out and weld in new panels

New metal is zinc primered

Before the outer arch is fitted

The lip is spot welded as it would have been at the factory

Repair in primer

Finished result, the inner wings are then waxoyled to help prevent the same thing happening in the future.
